LLAFP offers tips and advice relating to our members in using many tools to help get their pets homes quickly. In 1974, the shelter became a division of the Public Safety Department. Programs and services were expanded to keep pace with the growing human and animal population. In 1980, the division became fully accredited by the Humane Society of the United States.

Lap of Love assists families and their pets in Palm Beach County with end-of-life care in the comfort of their home. Our experienced veterinarians provide compassionate care for your dog or cat, including in-home euthanasia and hospice. Veterinary hospice specifically addresses comfort care and pain management for pets. Our telehospice service allows you to speak with a doctor to discuss your pet's quality of life.
